“I am ALWAYS looking for self-expression – in myself and in the people around me.
I did not feel my femininity until I realized there is a gap in my life, a POWER I was not expressing.

This was the starting point for ANNEMA.
The creative seed is in all of us and it needs to bloom. I watered it with dreams and ambition until I started to gather enough smiles from customers that I knew I was on the right path.

There is nothing more compelling and mesmerizing than a woman finding her strength and path, through all of the variations in life and against all of the odds.

We often talk about the emancipation of women with the feeling that it was something we needed to pull out of the fabric of society when in fact the emancipation started in the cradle of life and it walked with all of the women that ever existed and will ever exist.

ANNEMA is my dream of finding that sometimes dormant strength not only in myself but also in the women around me.
It is an exercise of POWER, CONFIDENCE, ACKNOWLEDGMENT, SENSUALITY and CONNECTION.

While I was working on my creations, the number 11 kept popping up like a guiding force. In time, I learned the importance of it.
It symbolizez HIGHER IDEALS. INVENTION. REFINEMENT.
Therefore, they have become the core values of the ANNEMA brand.”

Since 2018, the founding year for ANNEMA, the brand has had the celebrity eyes on it, having therefore hit multiple milestones in a short period of time by associations with Romanian artists such as: NICOLE CHERRY, ALINA EREMIA, MIRA, GIULIA, ANDREEA BALAN, ADDA, and many more.

Even though the brand is capsule built (limited), the flexibility of the pieces offer a conscious buying alternative to fast-fashion, moving towards the timeless fashion, through one main idea and less variations, leaving the mix&match to the customer.

Being against the idea of waste, ANNEMA is also about deconstructing and revival of clothes in order to create something new, empowered that will serve its purpose once more.

As our customers are the main focus, interaction is a highly important matter when it comes to the success of our brand. We strive to deliver top quality services and styling consultancy to make sure that all our customers are brave enough to unfold their highest potential.

The brand  has made an impact not only locally, in Romania, but also internationally, proving yet again that Romanian designers have something to say when it comes to worldwide fashion.
